Council Meeting

THAT a Closed Meeting of Council be held on Monday March 14, 2022 at 5:15 PM in accordance with Section 239 (h), of the Municipal Act, as amended, for the purposes of: (h) information explicitly supplied in confidence to the municipality by Canada, a province or territory or a Crown agency or any of them.

THAT Council reconvenes in Open Session at 7:00 p.m.

THAT Correspondence from Nachurs Alpine Solutions be added to the agenda under CORRESPONDENCE as Item 13.5

THAT a verbal report from the CAO relative to Community Use of Municipal Meeting Space be added to the Agenda under REPORTS as Item 12.2.

THAT the Agenda as amended for Monday March 14, 2022 be adopted.

THAT the minutes of the following meetings be adopted as presented: Regular Council Meeting Monday February 28, 2022.

THAT Report Nos. ILS 2022-07, PWE 2022-07, COR 2022-13, COR 2022-11, COR 2022-14 and COR 2022-12 be approved.

THAT Report No. PWE 2022-08 be received for information; and further, THAT Bridge Street Structure 34B-T9 and Oxford-Waterloo Road Structure 37B-OXF be closed to traffic until such time the Council endorsed Multi Span Slab-On-Girder Bridge as detailed in Report PWE 2022-02, is constructed and operational.

THAT Council fund the use of a Wilmot Recreation Complex Meeting Room on March 11 and 18, 2022, and one additional meeting, at a total cost of $1,105.95, for the purposes of the Wilmot, Wellesley and Surrounding Support for Ukrainian Refugees from the Council Operating budget, AND FURTHER THAT staff be directed to meet with the organizing group to determine their future needs and report back to Council on March 28, 2022.

THAT Correspondence Item Nos. 13.1, 13.2, 13.3,13.4 and 13.5 be received for information.

THAT By-law No. 2022-11 be read a first, second and third time and finally passed in Open Council.

THAT we do now adjourn to meet again at the call of the Mayor.
