Council Meeting

THAT a Closed Meeting of Council be held on October 3, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. in accordance with Section 239 (2) (d) of the Municipal Act, 2001, to consider the following: Organization Structure and People Plan - Section 239 (2) (d) - Labour relations or employee negotiations.

THAT Council reconvenes in Open Session at 7:00 p.m.

That the Agenda as presented for Monday October 3, 2022 be adopted.

THAT the minutes of the following meetings be adopted as presented: September 26, 2022, Regular Meeting of Council; and September 26, 2022, Closed Meeting of Council

THAT Report ILS 2022-24 be received for information, with this matter returning to a future meeting of Council for approval, approval with conditions or rejection of the application.

THAT Council accept official ownership of the Water Wheel located at 84 Bleams Road W., New Hamburg; and further; THAT Council endorse the maintenance agreement between the New Hamburg Board of Trade and the Township of Wilmot for reconstruction and ongoing maintenance of the Water Wheel, attached as Appendix “A” to this report; and further, THAT Council endorse the revised maintenance agreement between the Grand River Conservation Authority and the Township of Wilmot, attached as Appendix “B” to this report.

THAT By-law 2022-38 be read a third time and finally be passed in Open Council.

THAT the Confirmatory By-law, as attached on this agenda, be read a first, second and third time and finally passed in Open Council this date.

THAT we do now adjourn to meet again at the call of the Mayor.
